"By far the show of the century! How do you explain Punk Rock to 1978 America? You can't! According to the concert promoter, the band were booked as 'Johnny and his Six Pistols' to perform at the famous country honky tonk the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. Between the excited Pistol fans, club regulars and curious concert goers, the show was doomed and bound for mayhem. Their 40 minute set was filled with profanity, bottle throwing, spitting, body surfing, and the blood that dripped from Sid Vicious face. Sid was face punched by a local Dallas fan. He was so fuck'd up on heroin Sid didn't even care. He used a razor to cut marks on this chest that read 'Gimmie me a fix'. There was even some spit trading between Sid and a short blonde haired punk rocker chick on the front barricade. She would spit, he would catch it and spit back! Dallas rock band The Nervebreakers were the opening act. Want more Sex Pistols photos? And who doesn't! Many more shots from this show available. Email us for details. |
